Buying a house was our number one priority, he sat with pen in hand and started writing and explaining. The time went so fast,(I believe 2 hrs.) and when this young man left, we were exhausted. Where does one get so much energy, love of what he’s doing was evident. You could tell helping people is one of his many passions.

A few years have passed since that first visit from John, we are in our house setting up for comfort. Visits still happen from time to time, but the conversations have gone beyond investments, to sports, news events and the love of family. “I have been working with John Trudel since 2007 when he helped me earn a tax credit of over $5000.00 to help pay for a down payment for my first property. Since then he has invested my RRSP’s, LIRA and TFSA’s. When he left the large company he used to work for and created AFIG Financial Services Inc. I took his recommendation and applied for a leverage strategy. The leverage that John managed made me over $12,000.00 in 10 months. I used the profits fee free to consolidate debt and purchase some RRSP’s. My advisor at Johns’ old employer had also managed a leverage strategy at the same time as the new one I took out with AFIG. That leverage failed to earn me any profits and when I wanted to collapse what monies I could from that account, the advisor advised me of high fees I had to pay. When it came time to look at mortgage rates, his in-house mortgage broker, Paul Leong found the least expensive rate in the country for me.
